We found out transfers this morning at zone training. Since Elder Pfister has been here for four months, we figured that he would be transferred and I would be training. Nope. He's training. I'm transferred to Dulag, Leyte. Now, let me tell you why this upsets me so much. The first and biggest reason is I'm leaving Almeria. This is my favourite area so far, and I only got to stay here for not even two months. It's beautiful here. I had a lot of success here. I love the members here. The Sedaya family is here. I love the Sedayas; I don't want to leave them, especially An-An and Angie. The other reason is the language. Dulag is Waray-Waray-speaking. Diri maaram ak magyakan han Waray. (
I don't know how to speak Waray. Ironically, it's written in Waray.) And I'll be follow-up training, and maybe district leader. That will be very difficult if I don't know the language.

This picture was taken shortly after finding out I was transferred. See how happy I am? |
I was very upset this morning. They got me to bear my testimony in zone training, and I almost cried. I'm still not happy, but I've accepted it.

As a small act of rebellion that evening, we went to visit the Sedaya family in casual clothes. Ayen, An-An, Angie (in front of me), Sister Sedaya, Brother Sedaya |
