I talked to Elder Hackett earlier today. I told him what was up (I had a crush on Hazel), and that I think I should be transferred on December 9. He agreed that I needed to be transferred and said that, in situations like this, President Dela Vega usually likes to pull the missionary out within two days. I said that an emergency transfer wouldn't be necessary, because Hazel is at school all week, so I only see her on weekends. So I don't think I'll be emergency transferred. "You can expect to be transferred on the ninth," Elder Hackett said. He was very nice about it. I like Elder Hackett.
(While I did have a crush on Hazel, nothing ever would have happened. I went to Elder Hackett and exaggerated the situation, implying that I thought Hazel had a crush on me, too. I could have stayed for another few months, and nothing would have happened with Hazel. The reason I went to the Assistants to the President with this is because I hated Elder Millington so much that I was desperate to get away from him. I knew that if I were to go to the APs and request a transfer because I didn't like my companion, they would say something along the lines of, "This is Heavenly Father giving you a trial. You need to work out your problems with Elder Millington and make this the best darn companionship of your mission! Give it some time and effort, and you and Elder Millington will become great friends, you'll see!" I couldn't stand the thought of being with Millington any longer, so I exaggerated a little crush I had on a new member, and bam, I was gone.)
