Today is Dad's 50th birthday. He's old now. This is his second birthday in a row that I've missed because of my mission. If I don't cut (move my release date a few weeks earlier), I'll miss it next year, too. That's one reason why I plan on cutting. The main reason i plan on cutting is because I want to go home as close to my two-year mark as possible. I don't know why they tacked three extra weeks on to the end of my mission.
Hazel and Susan came to church this morning. Hooray! I finally confirmed them. They seem to be making friends with some of the members now instead of just the missionaries. I'll try my best to get them firmly set in the branch before I'm transferred. They discovered books of remembrance today. I'm buying journals for them tomorrow so that they can start their own.
