Interesting day. It started off with a joint district meeting in Mayorga. The entire zone was there, with the exception of Elders Richardson and Palma. They were at Zone Leaders' Council in Tacloban. I'm going to miss Tolosa Zone. I love the elders here. After the meeting, Elder Millington and I hung out with Elders Clark and Gummersall. Those guys are hilarious.
I took Elder Millington out to San Roque to teach him as much of the area as I know. He has to teach the new missionaries when they get here. I also took the opportunity to say good-bye to the few members out there that I actually know, and to do some business with President Calda that Elder Roberts had sent me to do.
My espidida (going away party) was at 5:00. It was very nice. Good turn out, too. We played games, took pictures, and had testimony sharing/good-bye Elder MacKenzie speeches. Mary Chille and Hazel each gave me cute little gifts. Susan couldn't attend because she was at school. I said good-bye to her on Sunday. I said good-bye to Hazel tonight. I gave her a kind of long handshake. Oh, well, I didn't do anything bad at least. I'll miss her. I'll miss everybody in the branch. They gave me a nice send-off. I very greatly appreciate that.
