Wow. What an interesting day. Most of it was good. The morning sucked. We just sat around waiting for the Mayorga elders to show up so that Elder Clark could interview Maria Rosa for baptism. They showed up at noon. The interview didn't happen. We got there, and Elder Clark asked her to pray. "Diri ak maaram," (I don't know how) she said. "Not ready for baptism," Elder Clark said. I asked Mary Chille Cobacha to teach her, and we rescheduled her baptism for November 27.
At 1:30, the four of us went to Tacloban because it was zone conference today. We grabbed lunch at Shakey's first, then went to the church. Elder Anderson was there! It was great seeing him again. He's tearing it up in Isabel. He's training as of tomorrow.
I got a package from home. New shoes, socks, an AVC (Alberta Vocational College; it's where my mother was working at the time) T-shirt, film, and candy. Very nice.
I saw Elder Pfister today. It was good seeing him again. He gave me some Almeria information. It will be a branch by the end of the month. Brother Sedaya has slipped into less activity. He smokes. Suck! He didn't like training, but he liked his trainee.
