5 December 1999

This is my last Sunday in Dulag.  My feelings are somewhat mixed about it.  I have a love/hate relationship with the branch here.  On the one hand, I don't like teaching priesthood pretty much every week with no notice, I shouldn't have to bless the sacrament each week, they butcher all the hymns, and I've had problems with president.  On the other hand, I love the members, especially Sister Yepez, Kristy Yepez, Sister Rosacay and her kids, Mary Chille, Hazel, Susan, Ligaya Amosco and her kids, Sister Buco, and Ritchel Anlio.  Wow, those are all female, except for Sister Rosacay's son.  Five of them are daragas (young single women), even.  Oh well.  I love them all like sisters, so there's nothing inappropriate about that.  Hazel is the only problem.

Susan came to church all by herself this morning.  I was impressed.  She even bore her testimony in fast and testimony meeting.  So did I, since it was my last Sunday.

I confirmed Leo and Mercie Grace today.  It was cool.

Mary Chille handed me a note in sacrament meeting that told me that the branch is having a farewell party for me on Tuesday.  Another good point for Dulag Branch.
