We met a Scottish man today in Lucky's, the local grocery store. He asked me where I was from because I was wearing my hockey jersey that has "MACKENZIE" on the back of it. When I said Canada, he turned to his wife and said, "See, I told you he was from Canada." He seemed pleased with my Scottish last name. He was a very nice guy. His wife is from here, and they had three children with them. They looked Filipino, but they were native English-speakers with Scottish accents. It was weird. It was cool seeing them. I've never met a Scottish person in the Philippines before, and I love Scotland, so I enjoyed it.
