We went to visit the Arellanos yesterday. They're an investigator couple who haven't been able to get baptized because they aren't married. They have five children, and they're very poor. Brother was a tuba pilot (he made and sold coconut wine), but now, since tuba is an alcoholic beverage of Region VIII (The Philippines is divided into regions. Region VIII was Leyte, Samar, and Biliran.), he makes and sells vinegar. They've been blessed because of their faithfulness, and now they have enough money to get married. We planned for the 12th of this month.
We have beds now. The ones we were using in the old house didn't belong to us, so we had to leave them there. We had a new investigator (he's a carpenter) make us some new ones, and we got them yesterday. (We paid him for the beds, of course. It's not like we made the people we taught do things for us.)
