Sister Arellano showed up at church crying and alone this morning.  Her father's getting worse.  I guess last night after the activity, he got mad at them and started hacking their house with a sundang (machete).  This morning, he was keeping an eye on them, so Sister had to sneak to church while the rest of the family stayed home.  I was pissed off when I found out what happened.  I had to keep telling myself (and still have to occasionally) that going out there and chewing Roberto out would just make things worse.  Sister told us not to visit them until they move, which will be as soon as possible.  All of the members are helping them find a new place to live.  They might end up going to Bungtod.
