22 February 2000

I took Elder Culbertson out to Ngolos yesterday to see the giant waves smashing on the coral.  I enjoyed myself more this time because the tide was low enough that we could stand on the edge and get hit by the spray without risking our lives.

The Arellano family moved out to Bungtod this morning.  It sure is a relief to have them over there near some members instead of way out in Banahao with an isog (ill-tempered) Jehovah's Witness father.  They seemed pretty happy.

We've lost touch with our zone leaders.  I think there's something wrong with their phone.  We've tried calling them every night since Friday, but it's always busy.
