I'm transferred. SURPRISE! Transfer day isn't until the 21st, but there was an emergency transfer somewhere, so when we showed up in Borongan on Sunday night, Elder Welsh told me I'd be transferred on Thursday. To Borongan. My new comp will be Elder Welsh. I'm the new Borongan zone leader. I'm going to miss the baptisms/birthday party on Saturday. That sucks. My replacement is Elder Fawns, a fellow Canadian. There are two in the zone now.
LATER
We went around visiting people this afternoon saying good-bye. We visited Greg, the Arellanos, the Daeps, the Jamolins, and Sally. Rosana Daep gave me a birthday card that she had made for me. We were supposed to celebrate our birthdays together on Saturday. She turns 15 tomorrow. It was a very nice card. The members here really make me feel loved. Sister Jamolin wasn't happy when she found out I was transferred. Neither was Sally. They wanted me to baptise them. I've grown really close to Yolanda and her children. I call her "Nay," short for nanay (mom). Ryan's a stud, JR is cool, and I love Mary Joy. She's so cute and funny, especially for a six-year-old. I'm going to miss all of my little daughters here. I love Guiuan, despite all of its disadvantages.
