We taught a third discussion to Mylene Celis last night. She's the 11-year-old daughter of our house help/landlady. She never got baptized because her parents went inactive. But now that Brother Celis is dead, there's no problem. Anyway, we taught Mylene, and all of her friends joined just so she wouldn't have to be alone with us. We taught her in the front room of our house. After the discussion, we hung out with them for about an hour. It was a blast. I love kids.
Hey, look, it's still brown-out.
LATER
It's lunchtime now. Still brown-out. We went out to Banahao this morning to see the Arellanos, but they weren't there. However, we did see a dead monkey in the path. We took pictures of it. Then we peed on it.

The monkey was missing its torso, but that didn't make it any less peed on. Wait, no, that's not right. That absolutely made it less peed on. |
I just finished eating lunch. Sweet & sour meatballs. It was delicious. I'm really full now. Sister Celis is an awesome cook. I'm glad she asked to be our house help.
We're probably going to Tacloban on Monday. My toenail is ingrown again. Pretty bad this time.
We were walking down town this morning, and someone hissed to get our attention. We turned around and a guy on top of a jeepney threw a banana at us. it hit Elder Wetenkamp on the shoulder. We just turned around and kept walking. "Now I can say I've had stuff thrown at me," he said.
Elder Bassi was transferred. Elder Jones' new companion and our new zone leader is Elder Jackson. Pretty cool. I love Elder Jackson.
