We had summer conference on Thursday and Friday. Waray-Waray on Thursday, Cebuano on Friday. We had a lot of elders sleeping at our apartment. The Waray elders were very disruptive and they trashed the place. It really pissed me off. I want out of this damn place.
The conference itself was pretty cool. Members from all over the mission presented talents. Some of them were really cool. The Polynesian elders did a presentation, too. It was the highlight of the show. I saw some members from Dulag, namely Sister Buco, Ligaya Amosco, Mary Chille Cobacha, and a couple of others.
While I was still in Guiuan, Elder Wetenkamp and I started teaching some people from the Tacloban area who were there working. Culbertson and I taught them, too. Then they went home, and we forgot about them. This past Thursday evening, one of them (a lady from Tanuaen) showed up at the Mission Fiesta, and we started talking to each other. Elder Smith was nearby, and said to me, "She's getting baptised next Saturday." That is so cool!
