We decided it would be a good idea for me to go to Tacloban, so that's what I did Sunday after church. I went with Rynearson because Welsh had stuff to do in Borongan. We slept in the annex that night with Elders Pfister, Laws, Cracroft, and Mock. It was their last night in PTM. Pfister's home! Freak, that's weird. I miss the little bugger. We talked a lot, mostly reminiscing about the good times we had in Almeria. I love Pfister.
Monday found me once again in Dr. Carpio's office. He did a thorough cleaning of it. Some of it was painful, but most of it wasn't. The holes in my toe are startlingly deep. Almost to the bone. My toe has been in a lot of pain lately. I had a hard time paying attention in zone conference this afternoon, that's how bad it was hurting.
We got back to Borongan on Tuesday. First thing Wednesday morning, we (Rynearson and I) went to Guiuan to interview Castro Abrugar for baptism. I visited people while I was there. We visited the Cabus family. Grace and Joy were there this time. I visited Sally and the Jamolin family, too. I had a great time. I love those people. I wanted to bring them all back with me.
We went to zone conference on Thursday morning. It was a good conference. I conducted the afternoon session. Elder Millington was there. He stayed in the room that I was in charge of. He was really nice to me, so I was to him. I had a good time. There were a lot of elders there that I liked. Now I'm back in Borongan and it's stress, stress, stress.
