Wow, what a day. We had a baptism/branch activity at a place called Marabut, just past Basey on Samar. it was a beach with beautiful scenery, nice water, cool rock formations, and caves. We baptised three kids: Carlo Pangelino (Nancy and Manulo's 12 year old son), Gemma Esmale (11 year old girl who's been going to church for a long time), and Marilyn (an 8 year old child of record). Gemma and Marilyn are really cool. I have a lot of fun with them. I had a lot of fun with a lot of little kids today: Marilyn, Jessica, Jasmine (Nancy's three year old daughter), Hannah Panglinawan (our house help's daughter), a Tagalog brother and sister with weird names that I can never remember, and a few other boys whose names I don't know. We climbed all over the rocks and went in the caves. It was pretty cool. Everbody except us missionaries went swimming. This branch really loves swimming. We didn't get home until 6:00.
I got a letter from Noah yesterday. He started writing it March 5, 1999, and he didn't finish it until April 8, 2000. It was a cool letter. Made me kind of trunky, though.
